Content Marketing Specialist
The primary areas of focus are email marketing, as well as social and search advertising. This is an entrepreneurial position with lots of opportunity for growth. Efforts will be spread across multiple brands and will require a high level of organization and accountability.
Daily procedure will include working directly with Sherpa founders, managers, brands, and clients. That means we need clever, talented people with a good sense of humor and awesome communication skills!
Salaried position; rate depends on experience and skill-level
Sherpa is looking for a content marketing specialist who possesses the ability to independently execute planned digital marketing and email strategies at a task level.
The primary role of this position is to build and execute ongoing digital email marketing strategies for Sherpa’s portfolio and client brands.
Identify and segment target audiences and grow client email lists
Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns that convert
Upgrade and/or build email templates using graphics, personalization, design visuals, textual assets, and advanced platform features
Proof and editorialize client-originated copy and be able to write original on-brand copy
Set up and maintain new accounts, communicating promptly and clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
Work with internal and external marketing teams to drive and support higher-level marketing campaigns
Responsibilities
While email marketing certifications are not mandatory for this role, you can advance in this career path as you gain experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
Exceptional knowledge and skill in the use of industry tools and platforms, such as

Active Campaign
Excellent written and verbal communication
Upbeat and positive attitude with a desire to learn
Proven account management or other relevant experience is a plus!
